Product Marketing Technical Architect

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

Experienced technical architect to work out join our global product marketing team to work to provide deep product knowledge and develop technical marketing materials. You’ll work with the rest of the product marketing team to develop technical whitepapers, be technical expert on all Sitecore products, and help develop other materials used by our technical sales team. You’ll also be instrumental in helping build deep competitive intelligence, and provide insight on technical competitive differentiation points.

This is an exciting role that will help drive Sitecore’s market penetration and fuel Sitecore expansion globally. You will work with an international team of business people and technologists who are smart, experienced and great fun to be around.

Responsibilities include:

You’ll be developing technical whitepapers, as well as designing and deploying testing environments to gather background data for use in paper development.

You’ll be the go-to person for deep technical questions on all Sitecore products, and will help the global solution architect team understand new products and capabilities.

You’ll work with customers, partners and our support team to identify key technical trends and best practices, distribute that knowledge across the organization.

You’ll deliver technical product training to our technical pre-sales team and coordinating with product development for advanced architecture support

You’ll assist the competitive intelligence team to understand the technical nuances of how Sitecore differentiates from the competition.

You’ll perform ongoing research of all emerging Microsoft technology trends and their impact on Sitecore. You’ll develop technical deep-dive sessions for delivery to technical presales and Sitecore partners

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills over email and phone
• Web development experience and Content Management System deployment experience
• 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft technology platforms (i.e. SQL Server, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Windows Server, IIS).
• System Integration experience with Service oriented architectures and database integration experience.

Candidates for this position will be at an advantage if they possess the following skills or experience:

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Sitecore V6 and above
• Experience architecting highly scalable web environments (e.g. clustering, load balancing, etc)
