Solution Architect/Presales Consultant

Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world. To build on our success in the U.S., we’re looking for a skilled Solution Architect with CMS knowledge and .NET experience. While the ideal candidate will be local to the Washington D.C. or Chicago, IL areas, we are always looking for the best candidates to join our team. Energetic and outgoing, the Solution Architect combines a detailed technical knowledge of .NET applications and the content management space with a passion for the sales process and customer success.

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead technical presentations, demonstrations and developer-centric product evaluations
  • Define and present Sitecore implementation architectures and project blueprints for customers and partners
  • Develop use case demonstrations and proofs of concept in collaboration with sales, product specialists and product development
  • Lead technical responses to RFI / RFP
  • Maintain highest level of technical and market knowledge; create thought leadership through writing, user group presentations, Sitecore community involvement
  • Act as customer and partner advocate for project success and best practices


As a Solution Architect you have the chance to develop in a very broad role--ranging from Sitecore product expertise, customer and partner collaboration, community involvement, technology and market expertise. We are looking for a professional with a solid background in Computer Science / Web development with CMS knowledge and experience in IT (.NET) architecture. In addition to these technical skills, we are looking for someone that shines when preparing and leading technical presentations to decision-making audiences.


PROFILE:
To fulfill the role of Solution Architect we are looking for a candidate that matches the following profile:

Technical:

  • Good understanding of the CMS (IT) industry in general with a particular focus towards Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Good understanding of Web development, information architecture, CMS and integrated technologies
  • Technical/IT education or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in a presales and/or professional services role
  • Good understanding of Sitecore or similar products

Non Technical:

  • Superior communication skills, ability to articulate key messages clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience in giving (pre)sales presentations to all levels of enterprise decision makers
  • Results oriented; committed to quality of product and service
  • Ability to work in (virtual) teams and committed to never letting a teammate down
  • Self- motivated and creative; having the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
  • Ability to think conceptually on the fly
  • Adaptive to change, having comfort in fast-changing technology environment
  • Always looking to raise the bar of own skills/competencies
