Healthcare and IT: NHS Hammersmith and Fulham Improve Online Services With New Site

The British Journal of Healthcare Computing and Information Managment covers how National Health Service (NHS) Hammersmith and Fulham improved the efficiency of their newly-launched website and the user experience using Sitecore CMS.

Developed by Sitecore partner Eduserv, the new site includes "rate this page" options, local service finder, improves search, news carousel and text-only option for screen readers, with additional features to be included in the next phase of the project.

Says Head of Communications Tom Stevenson: "The site looks a lot more up-to-date, is easier to use and more useful for residents. It has also made a huge change to the way the site is managed within our team. Content can easily be updated by non-technical communications staff instead of having to rely on a single developer."
