Sitecore Announces Site of the Year Winners for Australia/New Zealand, Netherlands, and International

Winners Across a Broad Range of Industries Rely on Sitecore CMS Software to Accelerate Web Strategies

San Francisco and Copenhagen, May 10, 2010Sitecore, the leading provider of .NET Web Content Management System (CMS) software, today recognized Site of the Year winners across several regions. This year’s overall winners from Australia/New Zealand, Netherlands, and international are: Blackmores, FANUC Robotics and Hogeschool Utrecht.

The Sitecore Site of the Year winners were selected based on each company’s use of Sitecore’s CMS software to deliver more effective business processes that advance Web strategies. The Sitecore judges considered creativity, integration with rich data sources and applications, overall user experience and the ability to educate, inform and motivate an action.

This year’s overall winners relied on Sitecore’s software to drive a number of online initiatives and to meet various website goals.

  • Blackmores, Australia’s leading natural health brand, worked with Sitecore partner, Bullseye, to implement Sitecore CMS software and OMS (Online Marketing Suite) solutions to build a digital platform that connects more personally with its customers.
  • FANUC Robotics Europe, working with Sitecore partner, The Reference leveraged Sitecore’s software to provide brand consistency across multiple sites and in 14 different languages while turning the site into a dynamic sales and marketing tool.   FANUC Robotics Europe is a subsidiary of FANUC Ltd, the world’s largest manufacturer and distributer of industrial robots.
  • University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), one of the largest further education colleges in the Netherlands, collaborated with Sitecore partner, Evident Interactive, to implement a solution that could maintain several websites while reusing content and integrating a large number of flash videos and other media across multiple sites.
