CA Technologies Takes Home Top Prize as Sitecore’s North American Site of the Year
IT Company Transforms Online Experience for Thousands of Customers with Sitecore’s Software
San Francisco – February 1, 2011 – Sitecore today announced that CA Technologies, an IT management software and solutions company serving the Forbes Global 2000, has been named the North American Sitecore Site of the Year for 2010. CA Technologies, headquartered in Islandia, NY, implemented Sitecore’s Content Management System (CMS) software to optimize its website as a demand generation channel, to improve brand awareness and to provide a superior online experience for its customers. CA.com is now supporting 167 external sites across 70 countries with three levels of tiered localized content utilizing Sitecore.
“Though rich with content, our goal was to completely re-engineer ca.com to provide customers with a more integrated resource that would be easy to navigate and personalize,” said Michelle Accardi, vice president for eplatform marketing, CA Technologies. “From downloading product patches to accessing support, ca.com has become a critical service delivery channel for the company as well as a valuable information resource for our customers. Now, with Sitecore’s CMS platform we can provide customers with a unique online channel where they can swap strategies with their peers, source best practice advice from industry experts, debate new trends and research products and services.”
Each year, Sitecore’s Site of the Year awards recognizes organizations that leverage Sitecore’s technology to develop an outstanding Web presence and to deliver an engaging online experience. Sitecore’s partners and customers submit nominations on the use of Sitecore’s products to deliver more effective business processes and advance online strategies. Nominations are judged on creativity, integration with rich data sources and applications, the ability to engage, educate and motivate an action, and the overall user experience the site is able to deliver to its visitors.
