NetworkWorld: Gartner Predicts WCM to Top $1 Billion in 2010

NetworkWorld, the premier provider of information, intelligence and insight for Network and IT Executives, covers the prediction of analyst firm Gartner that Web Content Management (WCM) software will grow to a $1 billion business in 2010.

Commenting on the changes to the WCM marketplace cited by Gartner in the Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management, Sitecore's VP Product Marketing Darren Guarnaccia recalls "when [Sitecore] salespeople first started making sales calls, more than 10 years ago, they frequently met with system administrators. Now, they make their pitch to executives from marketing departments and other largely non-technical business units."
