Sitecore Powered Websites Win Prestigious Award

More than 600 websites were in the running to win prizes in seven categories in the competition, "Bedst på Nettet", a competition held by the Danish National IT and Telecom Agency. Sitecore websites came out the winners in two significant categories; Regional and Municipal Administration as well as Portals. The winner of the regional and municipal administration category was one of Denmark's largest municipalities, Frederiksberg Kommune. This site was the highest scoring of all 600+ websites with a total of 184 points out of 200.

The site was rewarded for its balanced structure, and a clear division of the site to reflect its three main target group oriented areas; citizens, The Ministry, and The Church. Navigation, usability and availability were also praised.

The other prize-winning Sitecore powered site was Dansk Center for Arbejdsmiljøviden (The Working Environment Information Centre). The category was Portals, and the score was 176 which is the second highest scoring by any site.
