Microsoft nominates Sitecore ISV partner of the year 2003/2004

Microsoft has named Sitecore ISV partner of the year, giving direct reference to the impressive results that Sitecore has achieved in the past year. The award was given as Sitecore’s .NET based CMS was chosen earlier this year as the platform for the all future Virk.dk development. Sitecore’s effective and fast integration of new Microsoft Technology was also cited as one of the reasons for the nomination.

It is the result of the fast and painless integration of Sitecore’s .NET based CMS with high profile customers such as Virk.dk that made the company Microsoft Denmark’s ISV (Independent Software Vendor) of the year. In addition to this, since the start, Sitecore has prioritised close cooperation with Microsoft so highly, that in many cases Sitecore has integrated new Microsoft technology, long before the official public release.

It is some of these considerations that Microsoft Denmark has worked through to find the partner who deserved the prestigious award. Even though competition for the title was tough, Sitecore managed to leave the competition standing, the Danish CMS product is increasingly able to demonstrate both technological superiority and commercial success.

Although with the award there is no more in compensation than the honour itself, with Microsoft as the sponsor, Sitecore sees this as a recognition of quality, not just in acknowledgement of the technology behind Sitecore’s CMS but also that Sitecore, as a company, has progressed from being a young development-minded software company, to be a stable and progressive business.
