In addition to its size and predominate position in the field of professional cleaning equipment, Nilfisk-Advance A/S has been in business for an unusually long time. Nilfisk revolutionized the vacuum cleaner business 100 years ago by inventing an electrical vacuum cleaner that could be operated by a single person.
Nilfisk-Advance A/S has its head office in Denmark and has manufacturing facilities in Denmark, Italy, China, Sweden, Germany, Hungary and USA.
Nilfisk-Advance A/S’s main product lines today are professional cleaning machines and high pressure cleaners. The company also produces vacuum cleaners and high pressure cleaners for domestic use. The products are aimed primarily at the commercial cleaning sector – which includes institutional and industrial customers as well as professional cleaning companies.
Product development is highly prioritized and the company introduces around 50 new machines a year.
Nilfisk-Advance A/S has ambitious growth aims, and expects an organic growth rate averaging 6 % per year.
The design of the machines has always been highly emphasized. In recent years, the cooperation with Designworks/USA, a BMW Group Company, has resulted in several new top models.
