VicTrack is a Victorian government rail business that provides essential telecommunication and other services to support a safe and efficient public transport system. VicTrack own almost all Victoria’s railway land and infrastructure, most of which is controlled and maintained by other rail parties, mainly Metro Trains Melbourne and V/Line. VicTrack works closely with the Department of Transport, other agencies and departments, rail and tram franchisees, local government and community groups to support transport and other government priorities.
