Avenue A | Razorfish have launched the extremely attractive site curacao.com, a site dedicated to promoting the country of Curaçao. This is one of the first sites that Avenue A | Razorfish have launched and it is a fine testement to high quality of their interactive services. This year Avenue A | Razorfish received a Gold in the Addy Awards, one of the biggest (and toughest) advertising awards organised by the American Advertising Federation.

Due to the history of Curaçao, and its physical proximity to Mexico, the languages of the inhabitants are Papiamento, Spanish, English, and Dutch. One of the factors in choosing Sitecore was its ability to support all of those languages in the editor, thus improving the productivity of the contributors to the site. The ability to support multilingual characters both in the editor and on the site was also important.

The site itself is extremely rich, not only graphically, but also in terms of information, with up to date information on activities, locations, booking, weather and culture, for example.

"Curaçao is an extremely exciting and colourful location; we feel that the new website has really captured the essence of the country. We are pleased that we have found a CMS that allows us full control over both the editorial content and graphical style, without compromising either", Kara Barbakoff, Cheryl Andrews Marketing, on behalf of Curaçao.

Visit the site, visit the country.
