One of the hottest music venues in Copenhagen, Vega, has launched its new site based on Sitecore. They were assisted in the venture by Sitecore solution partner, Pentia.
The site is extremely extensive and includes some really interesting functionality that will boost the number of visitors to the site, and therefore increase ticket sales for the venue. One of the nice features is the ability to hear snippets of tracks from upcoming artists.
About Vega
VEGA is a regional venue, owned and controlled by a commercial fund with seven board members. The purpose of the fund is to run a music venue of the highest quality and to create an internationally oriented concert scene for rhythmic music and related genres and art forms of the highest artistic quality.
The biggest concert hall, Store VEGA, has a capacity of 1.500 standing guests or 900 seated guests. The smaller concert hall, Lille VEGA, has a capacity of 500 standing guests or 160 seated guest.
