About The Swedish Gas Association

The Swedish Gas Association was founded in 1916. Our main objective is to work for an effective and safe use of energy gas. They co-ordinate information within the Gas trade regarding both energy gas as a product and also the role energy gas can play in improving the environment. With the use of objective information, the association aims to ensure that energy gas, primarily natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), town gas and biogas, receives an optimal place in the Swedish energy system. The Association's primary informational task is to raise knowledge about energy gas among decision-makers. Media is also an important target group.
