Mensplace

Change Corporation have launched Mensplace, a dedicated resource service to support and encourage the development of initiatives that assist men in their role as fathers and other family roles.  

Mensplace required an integrated web portal and customer relationships management system that allowed them to be a first stop site for information and resources. Existing information scattered across various sectors such as health, mental health and social work were brought together into a portal to be used by professionals working with men and directly by men.

Basing the community portal on Sitecore allowed ownership of sections of the site to be delegated out to trusted members of the community.

The portal gives access to service directories, knowledge base articles as well as advanced search features. Users can register to areas of interest and newsletters, and interact with collaboration tools such as discussion forums and surveys. Online purchasing will be supported for events registration (e.g. seminars, training courses, and conferences), and catalogues selling both downloadable digital content and traditional physical inventory.

Mensplace is a government-funded not-for-profit partnership to support and encourage services and community groups to help fathers in the role of caring for their children as well as men in other family roles.
