When the Swedish Agency for Public Management was assigned by the Swedish Government to negotiate IT services for the public sector Sitecore received, through its Solution Partner Metamatrix, an agreement within the area of ‘Information supply 2005’. The agreement is valid for three years and, as a conservative estimate, is worth eight to ten million SEK.
“We are convinced that the reason that the Agency chose us is a strong, documented track-record when it comes to delivering innovative and reliable content management systems to the public sector,” said Henrik Breum Andersen, Swedish Partner Manager, Sitecore
Sitecore are one of the few non-Swedish content management suppliers chosen by the Agency.
“To have this opportunity to expand work within the public sector is extremely important for Sitecore. This is entirely in line with our strategy to address the public market in Sweden. Until now we have been extremely successful in Denmark where we have 35% of the public sector market today. This includes the local administration for the three biggest cities; Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus amongst others. Now an enormous new market has opened up for us. We are estimating five new web projects a month during the next three years,” continued Henrik Breum Andersen.
