Award Nomination - Innovation in Content Management
The inventive use of the Sitecore WCMS as the development platform to power the visually inspiring front-end of the “Magnum in Motion” site (

) has been nominated for Best in Innovation in Content Management at the “International Information Industry Awards 2006”.
Magnum Photos and Internet design and development company [ e n z y m ] (www.enzym.dk) (a Sitecore Solution Partner) decided to use the Sitecore CMS because of its flexibility and the possibility for future development independency. Sitecore is based completely on the .NET framework, has an open, fully documented API and works with SOAP and web services making it easy to integrate with other systems. This was essential for Magnum as the new system needed to incorporate its existing large image database.
Thanks to Sitecore and [ e n z y m ], Magnum staff and photographers can now handle all content production, publication and updates without any technical skills or the need for extensive knowledge of Flash or HTML.
The winner of the award will be announced on the 29th of November 2006 at a gala ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
