Siemens AG, Europe's largest electronics and electrical engineering firm, has chosen Sitecore CMS as the basis for a several worldwide Intranet portals and the public-facing web site.
Siemens is shifting to the .NET technology platform and away from its current Java-based web platform. The Intranet portal implementations provide the first step toward a full departure from Java and an adoption of ASP.NET.
