Monday, July 10, 2006

At this week’s Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2006, Sitecore, a leading provider of .NET Web content management and portal software, launched its North American Partner Program. The program is designed to help partners grow their Web applications portfolio and expand market reach via Sitecore content management solutions. Organizations including independent software vendors (ISV), system integrators and Web design firms can now easily integrate Sitecore content management solutions into their product offering.

Sitecore builds enterprise-class content management software (CMS) specifically designed to provide partners with the tools and resources they need to efficiently increase bottom line results.  Through the Partner Program, Sitecore offers the functionality, integration and scalability that partners need to effectively manage Web sites and Intranets.  Flexible and extensible, the Sitecore CMS platform enables the delivery of Web solutions and enterprise integrations quickly. Out-of-the-box integration with Microsoft® SharePoint, Active Directory and Office 2007 make Sitecore a natural fit within Microsoft environments.

“We are completely dedicated to our partner channel that provides customers with consulting, implementation and support services,” said Bjarne Hansen, President, Sitecore USA.  “Our partners have full Sitecore certification and a proven track record in delivering solutions based on our software. We have hundreds of partners based in over fifty countries worldwide to meet diverse geography or vertical-sector requirements.”

The Sitecore Partner Program

Sitecore’s Partner Program focuses on building solution and technology partnerships to foster the customization of content management solutions and solve real business challenges.  Partners use Sitecore CMS as part of their Web solutions and continue to integrate Sitecore's technology into their own product suites.  All partners have solid experience with .NET and XML environments, and offer a tested combination of systems and services to ensure that customers benefit from the latest technologies with minimal integration efforts.

The Sitecore Partner Program covers a broad spectrum of successful companies in over 50 countries worldwide. Among their customers are a range of major corporations, for example, Computer Associates, GlaxoSmithKline, Sara Lee, ABN Amro, FMC, Beiersdorf, Webtrends, InFocus, Newspaper Association of America, Experian Group, Loopbaan BV, NKT Cables, Perstorp, and International Merchant Services along with a long list of public organizations and municipalities such as King County, Washington,  and Suffolk County, New York, as well as North Vancouver Schools District, and City of Sioux Falls.
