Mary Laplante is Senior Analyst with The Gilbane Group, an analyst and consulting firm that provides education, advice and market expertise in content technologies and their application to high-value business solutions. She is active is Gilbane’s globalization and XML practices and Software-as-a-Service coverage. She also manages research and client projects; contributes editorial content; and participates in Gilbane conferences and other industry events. Mary has twenty-three years of experience in standards, publishing, software marketing, and research and consulting arenas. In 2006 she was elected to the Board of Directors of Content Management Professionals, serving as the organization’s president in 2007.
Darren Guarnaccia, Vice President of Product Marketing, Sitecore: is a broad technologist with a deep understanding of the Web CMS marketplace. His career background includes experience in Enterprise IT, as a Services Consultant and as a Software solutions vendor. Early in his career he was Director of Technology for a large financial organization. He subsequently ran e-Commerce operations for a large regional Consulting organization, building sizeable e-Commerce and CMS solutions for enterprises. Since 2003 he has served in Senior technical product marketing roles, currently as VP Product Marketing for the leading Web Content Management software company, Sitecore. With Sitecore, Darren works on CMS solutions planning and management, technical briefings with analysts, press, and major Clients, and business development and alliances.
