Sitecore CMS 6 User (Online)

Duration: 2 hours (approximately)

Course Abstract

This 2 hour online course introduces site end-users to Sitecore CMS 6. The training teaches how to use the Sitecore web-based user interfaces to author and publish content. The course is offered in North America, including USA and Canada, and we may be able to accommodate attendees from other regions.

Prerequisites

Attendees are expected to have simple computer skills, including the use of Internet Explorer and standard word processing tools such as Microsoft Word.

Target Audience

This course is intended for site authors with no previous Sitecore experience. 

Goals

After successfully completing this course, trainees will be able to use the Sitecore CMS 6 clients for basic and advanced content authoring tasks in Sitecore. Students will learn how to:

  • Use appropriate Sitecore web-based user interfaces (Page Editor, Content Editor, and Desktop)
  • Use advanced features in the Sitecore Rich Text Editor
  • Upload Media Items into the Media Library
  • Navigate through web sites using various tools
  • Perform quality assurance tasks such as workflow commands.
