This year’s overall winners from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland and Sweden are: Colliers International, Kährs, MICROS-FIDELIO, Royal Dutch Gazelle, and Ruukki.
The Sitecore Site of the Year winners were selected based on each company’s use of Sitecore’s Web and Online Marketing solutions to deliver more effective business processes that advance digital strategies. The Sitecore judges considered creativity, integration with applications, overall site visitor experience and the ability to educate, inform and motivate an action.
This year’s overall winners relied on Sitecore’s software to drive online campaigns and meet organizational goals, representing excellence across verticals and business applications.
Colliers International : Working with Sitecore partner, BlueArc, Colliers implemented Sitecore’s Web platform to accelerate marketing goals and produce qualified leads. In addition, decentralized content authoring within Sitecore allows content editors across regional offices to publish information faster and more efficiently. New features of the website include automated digital marketing capabilities, property showcases, expert locator tool, social media integration and videos, podcasts and RSS feeds.
- Kährs : Sitecore partner, Estrix, worked with Kährs to implement Sitecore along with InRiver’s PIM. Another partner, Soft, desgined the site and the Flash application Virtual Showroom. The site is now stunning and user-friendly, and the well-designed pages and content are compelling and beautiful. In addition, the site is now available in almost 20 languages.
- MICROS-Fidelio : MICROS-Fidelio a subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc. a global market leader in the hospitality, specialty retail, cruise and travel industry sectors, designed and built a lead generation portal in 15 languages to increase conversion rates and brand perception in EMEA. Sitecore’s Web CMS allowed the marketing team to launch new modules for online international campaigns faster and more efficiently.
Royal Dutch Gazelle : The largest, oldest and most well-known bicycle brand in the Netherlands has implemented Sitecore’s Web and Online Marketing solutions to power its new digital strategy. Gazelle is taking a phased approach with Sitecore’s digital platform that includes multi-lingual websites, GeoIP tracking, E-Commerce, social media and email campaign integration.
Ruukki : A supplier of metal-based products and services to the construction and mechanical engineering industries, Ruuki re-launched its website with Sitecore’s software to focus on delivering real-time product information. Recently, Ruukki.com won the B2B category in Finland’s most prestigious digital marketing competition, Grand One, for its innovative way of displaying product information.
