Over the next few weeks (or months, more likely), in no particular order, I intend to publish a series of blog posts that describe what I consider to be some of Sitecore’s differentiating factors - aspects of the company and its products that I believe differentiate Sitecore from other organizations in the Web CMS/WEM industry.
In a post titled Three Factors to Sitecore’s Success, I discuss what I still consider Sitecore’s most important differentiating factor: the people working for Sitecore, our partners, and our customers. The first post in this series will instead focus on usability as a differentiating factor for the Sitecore Web CMS platform.
Updated 10 September, 2010: Readers of this series may appreciate a post on my old blog about How to Evaluate Sitecore as a Developer. You might also be interested in additional Sitecore documentation.
Updated 5 October, 2010: I added entries to this list as I added posts to the series:
John has over ten years of experience in the CMS industry. His areas of focus include the Sitecore community, Web industry research, Sitecore technical documentation, and product management.
