Thrane and Thrane
Addition Consulting dramatically enhanced the web presence of Thrane & Thrane by working collaboratively with the IT and Channel Marketing teams. The two most important goals of this project were, first, to expand and promote their global network of distributors and resellers, and second, make it easier for customers and prospects to locate local distributors of their products and services. A new Partner Extranet coupled with a new Partner Relationship Management application, both built upon Sitecore’s CMS, were instrumental in achieving these goals. Using these new tools allowed Thrane & Thrane to create a new channel marketing services team to work more closely with their distributors and resellers.

VIE at Home
VIE at home, formerly Virgin Cosmetics, is one of the UK’s largest party planning companies. Originally established by Sir Richard Branson in 1997, Virgin Cosmetics quickly grew to become a household name in high quality make-up, skin care and bath and body products. More recently the business has added jewellery, home-ware and aromatherapy ranges to its portfolio and today it has around 10,000 Consultants selling direct to consumers in their own homes. In 2008 Virgin Cosmetics underwent a management buy-out before re-emerging in January 2009 with a new identity - VIE at home (VAH). Working from their homes all around the country, VAH’s Consultants in the field must log on regularly to the online community or extranet, known as VClub, within the company’s website in order to manage their business, process orders and keep in touch with news from head office. Igentics and Sitecore have helped provide VClub with a complete facelift including far greater compatibility and coordination between the site’s different component elements from the internal messaging system through to order processing and consultant message boards along with a strongly branded, more consistent look and feel.

Womens Pro Soccer
Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) launched its first Web site in early 2008 to support the promotion of the league, its teams, and its players leading up to the inaugural season in 2009. While the website and technology platform sufficiently supported the league’s pre-season activities, it did not serve as a viable long-term option as full league operations commenced and the inaugural season kicked off. Cypress Consulting, a Sitecore partner, was selected by WPS to lead the development of the new league web platform to support both the League site and individual websites for each team.
