Michael started coding at age 11 and started his first IT company at age 15. Before (and during) college, he was one of the principal developers of DikuMUD, an online multiplayer computer game serving millions of users, which was a predecessor to massive role-playing video games like “World of Warcraft.” Later, while working as president of a successful multimillion-dollar custom software development company, Michael envisioned the need for a Microsoft-centric system for creating and managing websites. In 2001, he joined forces with four fellow internet zealots, founded Sitecore, and introduced a product with functionality and appeal that was completely disruptive in the market. These five continue to be key contributors to the company, with Michael leading the business as CEO.
During a 20-year career at Microsoft, Jonas led the company’s transition to a cloud-first, mobile-first business model in Sweden by re-shaping the organization, building organizational capabilities and hiring the right leaders to manage the transformation. He held several senior executive positions at Microsoft in Europe, most recently as CEO of Microsoft Sweden. There, Jonas led more than 700 people and generated close to $1 billion in yearly revenue from traditional software sales, cloud and devices sales, as well as from consulting services. He now sits on the board of several influential companies and is a key advisor to Sitecore as chairman of the company's board.
Scott has developed and led growth and digital innovation strategies for more than 20 years, primarily in the enterprise tech industry. He has a track record of leading digital transformation to strengthen brands, grow demand, and delight customers. Prior to joining Sitecore, Scott served as senior vice president of marketing at Bazaarvoice and was vice president of global marketing for a $55 billion division at HP. At HP, Scott led a number of transformative company-wide initiatives, including pioneering the company's social practice, digitizing worldwide product launches, and restructuring the outbound go-to-market model. Scott is a frequent speaker at industry marketing events and often cited as one of the most influential marketers in tech.
Rich has guided legal and employment matters for technology companies for more than 20 years. At Sitecore, he is responsible for overseeing and directing the company’s global legal and HR teams. Prior to joining Sitecore, Rich served as vice president and assistant general counsel to Autodesk, Inc., an industry-leading design software and services company. While there, he was responsible for international legal issues relating to intellectual property, global compliance, executive compensation, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, employment, privacy, and data protection. Previously, Rich was in private practice at the San Francisco offices of Sheppard Mullin and Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon, where he supported technology companies with corporate and commercial litigation matters. Rich holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA and JD from Santa Clara University.
Dan has held financial leadership positions in both traditional corporations and high-growth venture- or equity-backed technology companies for more than 15 years. He founded and built Sitecore’s Financial Planning and Analysis function in support of the company’s 35%+ annual revenue growth and played a lead role in the sale of a majority interest to private equity firm EQT. Prior to joining Sitecore, Dan was Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at technology company Rocket Fuel, where he built and led the finance organization through revenue growth and helped to drive a successful IPO and subsequent secondary offering. Prior to Rocket Fuel, he held progressive roles in corporate finance with Nestlé USA and AT&T, Inc. Dan holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California at Davis and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
Lars has more than 20 years of experience in strategy, innovation, market positioning, sales, brand development, and company acquisitions and investments. At Sitecore, he has been involved in the strategic development, positioning, and growth of the company as well as building the global re-seller and partner chain. Currently, he leads Sitecore’s software engineering and product management teams and is responsible for delivering market-leading products to our customers and partners. A lifelong inventor, Lars holds patents for a method and apparatus for providing electronic data and a method for building and managing a web site. He also holds board advisory positions for nemlig.com, Denmark's largest online supermarket, and for SPORT-MASTER, Denmark’s largest sporting goods retailer.
Claus has spent the last 30 years in IT positions at a number of leading European and global companies. Most recently, he served as Group CIO and Senior Vice President at COWI, a leading consulting company spanning 20+ countries. Prior to that, he held senior positions with Danisco, now a unit of DuPont, JAI, and Schenker. Over that time, he developed significant expertise in digital innovation management, business partnerships, and project management. In his most recent CIO role, he ran an IT organization with 110+ IT professionals distributed in ten countries. Claus is a frequent speaker on the IT circuit and was awarded 2014 CIO of the Year by Computerworld, Dansk IT, and IDC in Denmark.
Denise Parker is accountable for global commercial operations. Her focus is to ensure cohesion, scalability and efficiency in commercial operations and supporting processes. Denise brings 15 years of experience from the enterprise software and cloud markets, spanning IT, sales, consulting, and business development. Prior to Sitecore, she served as VP, Global Channel Sales at K2, a business application software company. Before that, Denise managed the top 15 global alliances for Microsoft, which included top Indian system integrators, European and US-based outsourcers, hosting companies, and strategic Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Denise has also led business development and sales organizations in Asia, Europe, and North American markets.
Over the past 20 years, Mark has held executive roles with high growth companies in the areas of data, analytics, digital marketing, and content management software. He has extensive global management experience, having operated businesses in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Prior to Sitecore, he served as President of Adobe EMEA, a region with over 1,000 employees delivering more than $1.2 billion in revenue from Creative, Marketing, and Document Cloud subscriptions. As Group President of Experian Marketing Services in North America and UK/Ireland, Mark had full P&L responsibility for Experian's portfolio of businesses, repositioning the group as a digital marketing leader and first mover in multichannel campaign management.
