New courses added for Sitecore® Experience Platform™ 8.X

With the recent launch of Sitecore XP 8.2, we’re introducing three classroom courses that help marketers, developers, and business users understand how to benefit from all that Sitecore XP 8.X offers.

Sitecore Experience Solution Developer

This four-day, hands‐on course teaches developers to build robust, real-world MVC solutions that integrate with the content management and marketing capabilities of Sitecore XP 8, XP 8.1, and XP 8.2. The course covers MVC design patterns such as separations of concerns, unit testing, and dependency injection as well as how to build data-driven applications using the Sitecore Services Client and how to use Sitecore XP to market in context of customer interactions. By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Describe how Sitecore’s data infrastructure works on the MVC platform
  • Create solutions that are easy for business users to configure themselves
  • Build componentized presentation to support both designing and editing in the Experience Editor
  • Design components so that business users can dynamically alter the component’s behavior
  • Develop a solution that lets business users and marketers take full advantage of the new context marketing capabilities in Sitecore XP 8.2

Sitecore Context Marketing Fundamentals

This two-day course is designed to help marketers get started using Sitecore XP 8.0, XP 8.1, and XP 8.2 to market in context of audience interactions. Students will learn about marketing features and how to use them. They will learn to deliver content that takes into account the historic and real-time context of how their customers interact with their brand. Students will also learn how to gain the insight they need to improve conversion rates and generate more qualified leads through web, email, mobile, and social channels. Sitecore Web Experience Management

This one-day course is designed for content authors, marketers, business users, and/or designers who want to learn about Sitecore XP 8.0, XP 8.1, and XP 8.2 content editing features and how to preview and publish content to their website. The course also covers how to use rules-based personalization to increase the relevance of their website content. This course provides a foundation for marketers who will be attending the Sitecore Context Marketing Fundamentals course. By the end of the course, students will be able to:
