Michael Tandrup

A strategist hooked on engagement
My first practical encounter with Sitecore was when I worked with the Danish Soccer Association (DBU). We needed a new CMS and chose Sitecore after falling in love with the stories of personalization, building loyality and engagement value. The actual experiences with Sitecore were a combination of joy and frustration. Frustration, since nobody held our hand and managed to bring us the whole way from inspiration to actual implementation and every day usage of key Sitecore functionality. Since then, I have been devoted to cracking the code and actually realizing some of the more high-level dreams.

Niels Westerneng

As a marketing strategist my typical day is a mixture of creativity, commerce and technology. I connect these fields by creating overarching cross-channel strategies and by designing user friendly interfaces. As long as the solution always revolves around the user and his/her psyche. Sitecore gives me and my clients amazing tools to optimize marketing efforts and offer insight in results and is therefore an important part of my job. I’ve known Sitecore since 2009 and I see it as my personal quest to pave the way for Sitecore in my organization. And fortunately that’s going quite well.
