As marketers we always want the validation, the proof or the case study of the technology or service we are marketing. We hound the sales team to get us in touch with customers doing awesome things with our solution. But sometimes lost in our ambition to get the big brand names or the ‘sexy’ use of the technology, we may forget how the customer got there. How did they increase Web traffic? How did they deliver a more compelling online experience?
That’s why Sitecore started the Outstanding Solutions Program, a few years back. We’ve had some great responses, although it’s still hard to get people to talk about how great their work is. Remember these are technical and Web design pros, not marketers, who sometimes like to share a few of their 100 accomplishments…. But I digress.
This past spring (yes it’s mid-summer!), Aware Web Solutions was chosen for their work on the Motorola Employees Credit Union website and Hanson Dodge Creative was recognized for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism site. The applications can get a little technical and include graphs and code, however the top-level benefits/goals delivered are included as well. We realized that this program serves our marketing and technical audiences. Hey, a marketer’s dream.
Here’s some detail on each project. It’s pretty impressive and we continue to be wowed by the work our partners do with Sitecore’s solutions.
