Jean-Paul Gomes, VP Global Strategic Alliances

Jean-Paul Gomes has spent the last ten years as Senior Product Manager in the Office Business Platform Marketing Group at Microsoft Corporation, responsible for SharePoint Web Content Management and Internet Business. Gomes was instrumental in growing the SharePoint business to $1B+, adding more than 4,600 partners and acquiring more than 17,000 customers. He has developed and led global campaigns and market-perception-shifting programs for SharePoint.

Previously, Gomes worked in the Aerospace industry on the technical development of the second generation of civilian supersonic aircrafts for the European consortium EADS. He holds a MS in Aerospace engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace and an MBA from the Toulouse Business School. He also holds an MS in Technology Management from the École Centrale Paris, where he won a government grant award for engineering and prototyping the first hybrid scooter.
